Facebook has introduced the Facebook Live Shopping feature so that customers can know the trending products and can clarify doubts about the product in real-time. The selling of the product also happens in real-time

How would it be if you were able to purchase a product knowing exactly what you want from a showcase full of products?

Facebook has made 2 in 1 method of viewing a video and buying it from them. This might bring a big change to the way we usually do our online shopping where we are able to view a few images of the products and buy them.

Facebook has also planned to bring in a combined showcase full of products through the feature Facebook Live Shopping Friday.

Facebook has also mentioned that from this week until July 16 2021 the shop-able live videos will be up and running with beauty and fashion products. This will be a good way for the customers to find trending products and the latest fashion and buy them through live videos. This will also help users get the right shade of beauty products, the right size of dresses, shades of lipsticks and much more.

The Facebook Live Shopping will also be helpful for the brands to be connected with their customers and this has the probability of scoring more loyal customers.

To check out the products you can open the brand’s page and check if they are streaming any live videos and if they have then you can watch the video and buy products through the Facebook Live shopping feature on the shop tab.


Facebook also allows the users to Bookmark it on any mobile devices.

Users will be able to purchase a product just by tapping on to the live streaming video and purchase without leaving the live stream. They can also get suggestions and clarity on the products.

For instance; if Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (a leading brand) is using live shopping to showcase their newly launched lipsticks, the users can ask the models about the shades, how long it will last, about the texture of the products and much more details about the product. The users can also get suggestion on what shades to choose according to skin tone. These all can be covered under a single live shopping streamed video.

Facebook has informed that this live shopping will be available every Friday. Each Friday three brands will be streaming their live shopping video under the theme Glow Up, New Fashion Finds and Self Care Spotlight.

Here is the timing schedule framed by Facebook for its users to stay online at that particular time to watch the live shopping.

This will help users to tune in to that particular brand page and watch their live shopping and purchase if they like the product. These live shopping videos will also contain demos, tips, featured guest and much more.

Facebook has also given the list of brands that will be live streaming their products on the Live Shopping Fridays.

Alleyoop will be sharing many makeup tips from celebrity makeup artist @beautybychloe and founder Leila Kashani.

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will stream makeup classes led by top industry talent including celebrity makeup artists and Artist in Residence Nikki DeRoest featuring looks crafted with Bobbi Brown bestsellers.

Clinique experts will teach you how to achieve an endlessly plump, healthy-looking glow, how to find the right moisturizers for your skin type and how to add fan-favourite skincare products into your routine.

Dermalogica will be showing their complete skincare treatment, SPF Guide and availability of travel sizes of your favourite products.

Dolce Vita has planned to give users a sneak peek inside the Dolce Vita NYC showroom and share an inside look at the styles that keep selling out, including summer's hottest sandals under $100 and the comfortable heels customers actually feel ready to put on.

Sephora team of expert beauty aficionados will share this season's must-haves and so much more. Be ready to catch up with the glow!
